Marlborough attorney disbarred for intentional misuse of trust funds (MA)

MARLBOROUGH – The state agency that oversees lawyers has disbarred a Marlborough attorney for intentional misuse of trust funds.

Joseph F. Ditommaso has been disbarred as of July 14, according to the Board of Bar Overseers.

In June 2014, Ditommaso represented the executor of an estate in the sale of real estate. The proceeds of the sale, about $400,000, were to be divided evenly among four heirs. Ditommaso promptly paid two of the heirs and held the funds of the two remaining heirs in escrow at their request, according to the board.

Court documents from her divorce proceedings with ex-husband Isaiah Silva show that Cobain, now 25, earns $95,496 per month for her father’s publicity rights, according to EW.com.
