Estate of Denial® routinely posts stories from around the world to emphasize that legal abuse, including probate arenas, is a problem occurring globally – not just in the U.S. When an issue is based on greed and corruption – age-old attributes which have dominated much of human history – this shouldn’t come as any surprise.
To that end, here’s an interesting event notification recently received from Australia:
LAWYEROCRACY ON TRIAL – VCAT HEARING RESUMES at 10 am, FRIDAY 6th JULY 2012, 55 King Street, MELBOURNE
Case No: J134/2011 Michael McGarvie – Legal Services Commissioner v Harold James Johnson
Recently in May, the Victorian Government commenced an inquiry into the absence of professional standards in the Australian (including Victorian) legal profession, and at the broad intersection of the legal profession with the upper benches of all three branches of State and Federal government (benches that these days look like little more than an exclusive lawyers club).
This unprecedented and history making trial resumes at 10.00 am on Friday 6 July 2012 at 55 King Street, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
This is an open invitation to the media and to the public to attend the hearing. Come and look, listen, laugh and learn as leading Australian lawyers, lawmakers, governmen and governwomen (the Australian lawyerocracy elite) are put on trial and compelled to answer questions that they have been avoiding, for generations.
