Updates on Huguette Clark estate battle (NY)

Two new and interesting developments are being reported this week in the Huguette Clark estate battle.

In Tax fraud alleged in estate of heiress Huguette Clark; accountant resigns, msnbc.com Investigative Reporter Bill Dedman reveals that a New York state public administrator is alleging tax fraud on the part of attorney Wallace “Wally” Bock and accountant Irving Kamsler – fraud that could cost Clark’s estate $50 million in IRS penalties.  And though both men deny impropriety, accountant Kamsler did this week resign.

Additionally, Nurse, in line to inherit millions more, battles family of Huguette Clark describes a hearing today that will pit long-time Clark nurse Hadassah Peri against Clark’s family with regard to legal standing and the accounting for Clark’s $400 million fortune.  The hearing will also reportedly address if Clark’s longtime attorney should remain executor of her estate.
