We received this notice:
KPFK (Pacifica sister station in Los Angeles) will air an hour this coming Tuesday from 2-3 pm PT featuring a roundtable composed of several victims of California conservatorship proceedings.
Conservatorship may be one of the more underreported civil rights issues of our time, impacting seniors and those with an alleged incapacity. Special focus will be paid to the record of the California Legislature to address this issue, as well as to the implications of California AB 1288, which expands the possibility of asset transfer to “proposed” conservatees. In other words, you don’t have to be a conservatee to “lose the bank.”
You only have to be a proposed conservatee.
You may listen online at kpfk.org or tune in at 90.7 on the FM dial.
