TX House committee considers probate bill

Judge says former NY comptroller is in hospital

NEW YORK (AP) — Disgraced former New York comptroller Alan Hevesi, awaiting sentencing for his role in influence-peddling at the state pension fund, is in the hospital for an unspecified condition, a judge said Monday.
