Seidlin promotes ‘justice’ in Anna Nicole Smith case, is Kasler case equally deserving?

Tempting as it was to ignore former Broward County Probate Judge Larry Seidlin’s comments on the Howard K. Stern conviction, why miss the opportunity to point out the interesting audacity (or bad judgment or plain goofiness) of an accused exploiter speaking out on the prosecution of a now convicted exploiter?

Upon announcement of the Stern verdict, the former judge is ascribing responsibility to Stern in Anna Nicole Smith’s death saying he “got what he deserved” and that “justice has been served.”

We’ve written numerous pieces about the ongoing south Florida litigation in which Barbara Kasler, an elderly neighbor, is suing Seidlin, his wife, in-laws (along with others) for financial exploitation.  Links to several of the articles are below.

Seidlin was recently deposed (see video) by Kasler’s attorneys in the alleged estate looting case.  During these sessions, Seidlin appeared to largely shift responsibility for the Kasler relationship to his wife Belinda.  Though reports indicated Belinda Seidlin would be deposed later in October, indications are that such a session has neither happened nor is a date known to be set.

EstateofDenial.com shares Larry Seidlin’s demonstrated enthusiasm for the service of justice and looks forward to his ongoing display of this spirit through good faith participation in the Kasler case.  To date, Kasler v. Seidlin might more appropriately be called Justice v. Public Corruption due to questionable legal maneuverings, suspected stalling tactics, appearances of cronyism, etc.

We’ll keep you posted on the progression of this case to see if cooperation with and the service of justice is such an appealing concept when one is on the other side.
