RightOnline panel on Death Tax

Just enjoyed a great panel on the Death Tax here in Vegas at the AFPF RightOnline conference.

Participants were American Family Business Institute President Dick Patten, syndicated radio host Herman Cain and Americans for Prosperity Director of Policy Phil Kerpen.

“Are we merely taxpaying serfs that when we die our property reverts back to the government as though they owned it in the first place?” Patten asked.

Fifty-seven percent of jobs come from family business and the death tax kills family businesses.

Herman Cain queried the audience “why should the government get rewarded for what your family did?”

We’ll hopefully have some audio to post answering a question posed by EoD’s Lou Ann Anderson regarding the legal industry’s stance on the Death Tax.

Overriding message:  the Death Tax is dead – keep it dead!

To that, we say “Amen!”
