Dallas’ Hunt family has long been locked in a bitter battle over entitlement and distribution issues of funds emanating from the fortune originally built by oilman H.L. Hunt. A trial in one of the specific disputes is upcoming. We’ve posted that story as well as two “flashback” pieces that provide background (#1, #2).
Much news on the Danny Tate front. First, FreeDannyTate.com has now posted a recent television interview in which Danny discusses his conservatorship. Maybe a visual will help people to believe these things can and do happen – daily.
The Friends for Danny Tate’s Defense FB page has posted information about an Awareness Concert scheduled 6 p.m. Sunday, May 23, at 12th and Porter in Nashville. The lineup will soon be announced, but it’s Nashville – how can it not be great? Click here to stay plugged in for concert updates, here for tickets. EstateofDenial.com will be there. We hope to see you, too!
Danny’s friend Kevin Montgomery continues leading the charge to free Danny from this hideous, court-sanctioned hijacking of civil and property rights. In a recent blog, Kevin put together 10 things you can do to help Danny Tate. Thanks to Kevin for mentioning EoD in #7 with regard to our Austin musicians (and others) beware the guardianship plight of Nashville rocker Danny Tate column as well as our letter to attorney Paul T. Housch. Our next piece is in rapid development mode so stay tuned for that.
Kevin also has new information today about Judge Randy Kennedy denying fees legitimately due to attorney Michael G. Hoskins and his importance to Danny’s case. This is an obvious legal gamesmanship move, but that makes it no less critical. Please remember www.KevinMontgomery.com as another great site for efforts and perspective in the fight to free Danny Tate.
Lastly, the Nashville Predators lost their playoff bid. Hopefully this might become a trend for other area predatory entities.
