“Defending the American Dream” packs a powerful punch

What a day it’s been here in D.C.  As the first day of the Americans for Prosperity Foundation Defending the American Dream Summit is winding down, we’ve been on the move for hours.

After a morning of Right Online training that involved discussing the continued influence of blogging and social networking as well as the evolution of new media sources in today’s political advocacy climate, we headed to a rally outside the U.S. Capitol for a Hands off My Health Care Town Hall meeting and constituent visits to elected officials’ offices.

The afternoon session was followed up by a great dinner that included a “Tribute to Ronald Reagan” dinner and speeches by radio talk show host Laura Ingraham, Congressman Mike Pence (R-Ind.) and others.  The evening was capped off by a screening of Producer/Director Phelim McAleer’s Not Evil, Just Wrong.

Tomorrow will be equally as full a day.  We’ll keep you posted.dscn1315dscn1321dscn13191dscn13171dscn13231
