We haven’t been able to find any updates regarding the estate of Wilson C. Lucom.  Even the web site chronicling this case has not recently been updated.

This estate dispute seems to center around a decedant’s final (and clearly stated) wishes being disrespected and legally contested by his third wife and her grown children.  The story becomes more dramatic and complicated as the assets are being held in a Caribbean tax haven, the case is being heard in Panama and the family perpetrating the legal action is politically connected.

Lucom helped found one of our favorite groups, Accuracy in Media.  We are thankful that he used his resources in the creation of this important organization that brings forth a discerning perspective with regard to today’s media.  Though he appears to have tried, the bulk of Lucom’s assets might not nearly be put to such productive use.
