Entitlement: it’s not just for government anymore

Isn’t is interesting how people can so easily become adamant regarding their “entitlement” to the property of others?  We’re speaking of a California court estate case involving the Beauchamp family.

And it may go back to the trend discussed in earlier postings where some estate contests increasingly have a “speculative” nature.  That is, you don’t have to win.  With a large enough potential prize, a small yet token piece awarded or offered as a “go away” mechanism can cause litigation (or the threat of) to be lucrative.

Per the article, the judge has expressed doubts regarding merits of the lawsuit,  but the plaintiffs continue to persevere.  This will be one to watch.
